OLED Display

Behind this display sits the 1.9-inch TFT based on the LILYGO T-Display S3 – exactly the board that handles the readout in the miners of the Nerdaxe family. So you are not getting a copy but the same display fitted there at the factory.

The board carries 802.11 Wi-Fi, BLE 5.0, 16 MB of flash and programmable buttons, with the pins already soldered. That makes it both things at once: a replacement for a failed readout and a spare board for the next build.

• Display dark or garbled: if the readout stays black or shows stripes, it is usually the display board that is due – not the miner.
• Repair and second device: a spare board takes the waiting out of a repair or goes straight into the next build.
• Values on the device: hash rate and status are back on the miner itself instead of only in the web interface.
• More than a readout: Wi-Fi, BLE 5.0, 16 MB of flash and programmable buttons sit on the board – room to play for anyone going beyond a straight swap.

This 1.9-inch TFT sits in the Nerdaxe Gamma, Nerdaxe Gaia, NerdQaxe++, NerdQaxe++ Hydro, NerdQaxe Copper Pro and NerdOctaxe. For other devices in the series, check the display entry in the technical data first.

It does not fit a Bitaxe. The Bitaxe Gamma and the other Bitaxe models carry a 0.91-inch OLED – a different format, a different part, not interchangeable in either direction.

For owners of a Nerdaxe, NerdQaxe or NerdOctaxe miner with a failed readout, and for everyone who wants a spare board on the shelf. Customers describe the swap as straightforward: the display was recognised immediately after fitting.

It is less of a fit if you are hoping for a bigger screen. This is the original 1.9-inch format – from a few metres away the text stays small, and the board changes nothing about your miner’s hash rate or power draw.

No soldering on the board itself, as the pins come soldered. Still check how the display is mounted in your device before ordering. For the swap: disconnect the miner from power, release the old board, plug the new one in with the same orientation and start up – the steps that follow are in the NerdQaxe setup guide. Adjust the brightness to your location if needed.
