Bitaxe affiliate program: 5 % commission on every referral, no network in between
24 September 2026 · 11 min read · Updated on 26 September 2026
Anyone who explains solo mining, in a video, a blog, a Telegram group or at a meetup, sooner or later gets asked where to buy the miner. The Bitaxe affiliate program turns that answer into a commission: whoever refers an order via their link or discount code receives 5 % of the net order value. No affiliate network, one dashboard, monthly payouts. This article explains how the program calculates, who can apply, what the dashboard shows and where the limits are.
Three steps to your first euro
- Apply. Name, email, country, a link to your channel, community or blog and a few sentences on how you plan to recommend us. We review every application by hand, usually within a few days.
- Recommend. After approval you receive your code and your link by email. You append the code as
?ref=yourcodeto any page of Bitaxe.de: the home page, a product, a guide. On request we also set up a discount code for your community. - Earn. Every paid order via your link or code appears in the dashboard, and you get an email about it. After delivery and the holding period the commission is released and paid out in the next monthly run.
How the commission is calculated
The basis is the net order value: the value of the goods after any discount, without shipping, without the PayPal surcharge and without VAT. On that you get 5 %. It is deliberately the same basis we calculate with ourselves, because VAT and shipping are pass-through items that do not stay with us.
| Net order value | Commission (5 %) |
|---|---|
| €100 | €5.00 |
| €250 | €12.50 |
| €600 | €30.00 |
| €1,200 | €60.00 |
To get from the invoice total to the net order value: leave out shipping and the PayPal surcharge, then take out the VAT of the delivery country, 19 % in Germany, 20 % in Austria. Any discount is already deducted from the goods, whether a discount code or the Bitcoin discount. Orders to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein carry no VAT, so there the full value of the goods after discount counts.
Individual products or categories may carry different rates or fixed amounts, for promotions for example. Which item, with which net value and which rate, went into a commission is shown in the dashboard next to each entry. You do not have to calculate anything, but you can check everything. If we change rates or rules, the change only applies to new orders, and we announce it by email.
Link or discount code: two ways of attribution
The referral link is the standard way. When someone clicks it, the shop remembers your code for the current visit and removes the parameter from the address again. If the visitor accepts cookies in the consent notice, attribution lasts 30 days, even if they close the page and come back next week. If they decline, it applies to that visit only. If they later click another partner’s link, the last click counts.
You can link to any page. Besides the products, the Bitaxe buying guide, the overview buy a Bitcoin miner, the guides and the mining calculator work particularly well. Referral links also work on the German version of the site.
The discount code is the second way, and often the better one for communities. You get a code like YOURNAME5 that gives your people 5 % off and attributes the order to you, with no link and no cookie. It works in podcasts, in Telegram groups, at meetups, anywhere nobody clicks a link. If a customer redeems your code, the code wins, even if they came via another partner’s link before.
Each order has exactly one attribution and exactly one discount. That is why the Bitcoin discount cannot be combined with your code: whoever redeems your code gets the code discount, even when paying with Bitcoin. Whoever comes via your link without a code and pays with Bitcoin gets the Bitcoin discount, and the order is still attributed to you.
Who the program is for
- YouTube channels and streams about Bitcoin, hardware and DIY, whatever their size
- Blogs, newsletters and podcasts with a technical audience
- Telegram, Discord and forum communities where solo mining is a topic
- Meetups and local Bitcoin groups that regularly help beginners get started
- Developers and tinkerers who publish firmware, cases or guides and get asked anyway where to buy the miner
It is not meant for coupon sites, for ads on our brand names or for accounts that only want to discount their own purchase. We read every application and look at the channel. Anyone who just wants to post a link, without content or a community behind it, gets a friendly no.
You can join from every country we deliver to: the EU plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Landing page, program rules and dashboard are available in German and English, and you set the language of your emails in your profile.
What the partner dashboard shows
After signing in, “Overview” shows clicks, orders and net revenue for the selected period (7, 30 or 90 days, one year or a custom range), plus your balance in four stages: pending, payable, in payout, paid out. Two charts show clicks and commission per day, per week for longer periods. Under “Orders” every attributed order is listed with date, shortened order number, source (link or discount code), net basis and commission. You do not see customer data: no names, addresses or emails. That is privacy: the customers ordered from us, and their data stays with us.
Under “Commissions” every entry expands to show the breakdown per item and the expected release date. “Payouts” shows your payable balance and every past payout with method and reference. Under “Links & code” you find your link, your code and a generator that turns any Bitaxe.de address into your referral version, plus a ready-made list for all products. Under “Profile” you enter your payout details: IBAN or Bitcoin address, optionally a VAT ID, your small-business status and the invoice address for your credit note. Changes to these require your current password and trigger a confirmation email.
Release, reversal, payout
A commission is created when the order is paid, not when it is placed. It then shows as “pending”. 30 days after delivery it is released automatically, and you receive an email. The period covers the 14-day withdrawal right plus the parcel’s way back. If an order is cancelled, withdrawn or partially refunded, we reverse the commission proportionally. That can also affect a commission already released or paid out; the deduction then appears as a reversal in the dashboard and is offset against your next payout. Suspicious orders, for example from the same IP address as your partner account, are only released after a manual review.
Released balance is paid out from €50, by SEPA transfer or in Bitcoin to the address in your profile. Payouts run monthly, in the first week of each month; if your balance is below that, it stays and keeps growing until the next run. You receive an email with amount, method and reference, and the history is in the dashboard. From purchase to first payout it therefore takes at least the delivery time plus 30 days, followed by the next monthly run.
There are no automatic transfers: we prepare, check and confirm every payout by hand. That is slower than a click, but it makes it hard to harvest commissions with fake orders.
The ground rules
- Disclosure. Referral links are advertising. Label them as required for your platform and your country.
- No ads on our brand. No paid search ads on “Bitaxe.de”, “buy Bitaxe” or our product names. Those clicks would have reached us anyway.
- No spam, no hidden redirects, no coupon sites.
- No self-purchases. Orders to the email address of your partner account earn no commission, not even via your link or code. The code is meant for your community.
- Either side can stop at any time. Released balance is still paid out afterwards. In case of violations we suspend the account; pending commissions from non-compliant orders are forfeited.
Why we built it ourselves
There are ready-made affiliate networks that can connect something like this quickly. We decided against them for three reasons. First, privacy: such networks run their own scripts and tracking cookies on the merchant’s site, and that is exactly what we do not want on Bitaxe.de. Our attribution runs via the session and, only with consent, via a cookie that contains nothing but your code. Second, cost: a network takes a cut of every commission. That money is better off with you. Third, control: we see every attribution, every entry and every payout ourselves and can answer questions directly instead of opening a ticket with a network.
The price is a program that deliberately stays simple. There are no tier models and no banner library, just a standard rate, a link, a code, a dashboard and a monthly payout. If it turns out partners need more, we will build it.
How this fits with the Bitaxe Pool and Rewards
The affiliate program is the third building block next to the Bitaxe Pool and Bitaxe Rewards. The pool charges no fee for solo mining (1 % in SOLO Groups), Rewards give points for the hashrate your miners contribute there, and the affiliate program pays for the recommendation. For a community mining together in a SOLO Group on the pool, it fits together: the group leader recommends the miner, the members get a discount via the leader’s code, and everyone collects points on the same pool. Only one code can be redeemed per order, though, so either the partner code or a Rewards code. Anyone who wants to work out which miner makes sense for their group can use the mining calculator.
How to apply
Fill in the form at bitaxe.de/en/affiliate: name, email, password, country, your channel and a few sentences on your audience and plans, then accept the program rules and the privacy policy. Next, confirm your email address via the link in our email; it is valid for 48 hours. We will email you once we have decided. After approval you enter your payout details in the profile, take your link or code and get going. Questions beforehand are welcome via contact or in the Telegram chat.

Who owns the Bitaxe?
A single reseller registered the names Bitaxe, Nerdaxe, NerdQaxe++ and Nerdminer as trademarks, two of them for devices it does not even sell. In April 2026 it used them to have 71 of our pages removed from Google. We show the register entries, the letter from their lawyers and the contradictions that come with them.
